About You:
As a Coordinator in the Video Services department, you are vital in leading & scaling our fast growing Video Services business; executing on a value proposition that drives client satisfaction, engagement and revenue! You'll work closely with Rights Management leadership to ensure that our clients' content is viewed by as many people as possible, earning revenue from viewed ads, and quickly resolve rights issues pertaining to client content.
You're positive; an Orchard evangelist in and outside of the company because after all, this is exciting stuff! You're eager to learn and apply the knowledge you've gained from your past experiences to the complex and evolving world of rights and YouTube! You're impeccably accurate and detailed, while able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize appropriately. You're a fearless, creative problem solver that proactively pinpoints and reports on issues that arise pertaining to your daily tasks, and you have experience working in YouTube's CMS. You're an excellent communicator who provides a high level of service both internally and externally, and you're great at following processes, procedures, and deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Research and resolve rights-related issues, such as YouTube ownership conflicts, 3rd party claims, and user disputes
- Provide an extraordinary level of support internally, and for clients, rights-holders, YouTube users and partners (e.g. YouTube) to ensure that content-related issues get resolved immediately (e.g. responding to inbound email issues/requests)
- Review, update and audit content maintained in YouTube's CMS with a high level of detail and speed, all based on strict deadlines and across multiple tiers of service
- Identify ways to proactively enhance client satisfaction (e.g. projects and process improvements that could positively impact revenue and productivity)
- Basic comfort level and understanding of YouTube's CMS, and the delivery and management processes that go along with it (e.g. Content ID system, weekly fingerprint/delivery cycle, ingestion queue)
- Provide clear and concise comments/notes in various internal tools
- Consistently meet and/or exceed performance objectives and deadlines
- Work closely with the Lead of the Rights Management Team, proactively escalating issues, communicating roadblocks pertaining to team projects and procedures, and providing insights on people and processes
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Part-Time Coordinator(s), and provide training and feedback
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Comfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Well-organized and attentive to detail; outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable follow-up and follow-through capabilities
- Excellent teamwork skills - must have a strong sense of commitment toward the overall goals of the Video Services Department, Rights Management Team, and the organization as a whole
- Positive attitude, with ability to motivate and excite team members
- Easily adaptable to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, and Apple applications
- 2-3 years of work experience in the music industry, preferably in a data entry, e-commerce, customer service, or legal role
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of music licensing and rights
- College degree required
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in a CMS such a YouTube or VEVO
- Passion for, knowledge of, and appreciation for music!
