We are seeking an experienced art director that can concept and develop inspiring creative for a wide range of entertainment marketing materials including social, billboards, and storyboards and style frames for motion GFX.
Required experience:
Minimum 3+ years entertainment design experience, preferably at an agency or studio with a focus on digital marketing, social and/or key art.
Qualifications:
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Possess a strong eye for color, composition, detail, typography, and photo manipulation demonstrated through an extensive portfolio
• Able to lead creative concept phase
• Able to quickly bring concepts to life, self-edit, and refine quickly based on Creative Director and client feedback
• Able to receive and give direction
• Foresight to take initiative and provide creative alternatives
• Work well independently, as well as collaborate and lead when needed
• Insightful and proactive
• Strong communicator both verbally and written
Super bonus points for:
• Key art experience
• Illustration skills
• Able to think and design for motion graphics - style frames, storyboards, lower thirds etc.
(motion graphics software experience not required for this position)
• Leadership experience
• Client interfacing
A Typical Day Might Include:
• Close collaboration with creative director
• Concepting ideas for creative content, promos, motion posters, OOH motion billboards, social campaigns, digital marketing, and more
• Functioning as art director to direct and create compelling assets and directing designers and motion GFX artists to carry out concepts to completion
• Providing feedback to team prior to Creative Director review
• Directing team on execution of established looks and revisions from CD and client
• Participate in client calls and emails when necessary such as: reviewing comps with client, interpreting and relaying feedback to team
