Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Working specifically on how to improve paid media and content distribution processes
• Developing hypothesis driven strategic analysis for key operational initiatives while managing the whole process of paid media involving deep dive analyses, recommendations development, and presentation to executive audiences
• Independently managing data gathering and analysis of HuffPost metrics and KPIs, through development of standard data management processes/models to aid in decision making and paid media strategy
• Constant, clear communication of objectives, status, tactics and results to all stakeholders
• Working closely with the business, analytics, and edit teams to operationalize a coherent plan for effective content distribution and paid media strategy
Qualifications
• Experience (academically, or professionally) in quantitative and qualitative analytics such as performance measurement, media and web analytics
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., FB Insights), internet traffic tools (e.g., Adobe SiteCatalyst, Discover, Google Analytics, comScore), enterprise BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Ability to conceptualize business issues, formulate hypotheses, gather results, analyze data, and make appropriate recommendations for change
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail and quicklearning mindset. Comfort with Excel is a must.
• Analytics or related experience in digital media companies/startups especially in digital news, lifestyle content, entertainment content are strongly preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Passion for digital media and Huffington Post
