About the Role:
We are looking for an amazing Business Development Manager to join us at The Huffington Post here in New York City, reporting to the Head of Business Development. As a BD Manager you'll use your well-honed business acumen to identify, create and support strategic opportunities to extend the audience and revenue growth of HPMG's properties. This may involve performing market intelligence and analysis, evaluating new growth opportunities and producing ROI and IRR financial models on emerging businesses.
Qualifications
Here is the type of person we're looking for:
• MBA from top tier educational institution or Undergraduate Business Degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting or tech
• Deep knowledge of and passion for emerging technologies, internet business models and digital media. Knowledge of the publishing industry a plus.
• Ability to identify potential deals, build relationships and bring deals to fruition.
• Confidence to operate in a quickly changing environment.
• Self motivated, entrepreneurial and creative.
