The List - Photographer / MMJ
Primary Purpose The Photographer/ MMJ will be responsible for shooting, writing and editing for a daily national news magazine show, as well as the ability to write and produce stories for multiple platforms on deadline. Must be a great storyteller and have passion for entertainment, pop-culture and news! This position is located in Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
• Shoot video and edit or assist in editing for all multimedia platforms.
• Work cooperatively with a reporter assigned to a story, if one is assigned.
• Must be able to assist show producer in preparing entertainment show.
• Report, write, capture visual content, edit and produce stories for multiple platforms on deadline, such as internet and digital channels.
• Familiarity with social media and plugged into local sources.
• You will drive the company vehicle for business purposes
• Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Minimum three years shooting and editing experience.
• Must demonstrate video photography and editing skills.
• Advanced training in writing, video editing, video production, graphics, audio production, music editing, sound effects.
• Familiarity with I-news is a plus
• Ability to work with in a team environment and with and diverse community members.
• Detail oriented, basic computer research skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
Education & Experience/Certifications
• College degree preferred, but will accept a high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
