THE DINER PRODUCTION MUSIC LIBRARY SEEKS Creative Licensing Coordinator (New York)
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Diner Music seeks someone with 1 or more years music licensing sales or pitching experience to market our premium music library to advertising agencies, post/edit houses, production companies, trailer houses, and TV/Film music supervisors. (Ad agencies and post/edit companies will be the main focus)
Ideal candidate:
* Must have high energy, a good personality and knows how to hustle in order to pitch The Diner Music catalogue to Advertising agencies, Edit/Post Houses, Trailer houses, and TV/Film Music Supervisors. Existing client relationships a HUGE plus.
* Direct client interaction and not just sales support experience is a plus.
* Able to meet monthly/quarterly sales goals
* Desire to learn the inner workings from the ground up of the production music business.
* Is passionate about meeting people, establishing new relationships, and maintaining pre-existing relationships.
* Has the ability to research, identify, and target new potential customers and convert those leads into clients.
* Is thoughtful, creative, and consistent, with his/her sales approach. Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be motivated, driven, goal oriented, creative, charismatic, enthusiastic, very well organized, diligent, professional, and outgoing.
* Understand the demands and common terminology related to music licensing in the advertising and entertainment industry.
* Salesforce CRM experience a plus.
* Must be a self starter who can take direction, but also has the ability to be productive without.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Self-starting candidate's main objective will be to develop, sustain, and grow The Diner Music's relationships and increase sales.
* Continually implement creative new marketing tactics and ideas to increase sales which will include, but not be limited to, one on one meetings, proactive pitches, researching industry websites and attending networking events.
* Set up client screenings and Diner USB drive installations.
* Requires travel throughout the sales territory. (All of the East Coast and Canada)
