Job purpose
This position offers a great opportunity for those looking to further their experience as a Marketing professional and build on their career in the entertainment industry. A sound understanding of marketing principles, administrative assistance, graphic design and branding are highly beneficial in this position.
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting two individuals. Candidates must have demonstrated skills in results-oriented marketing, graphic design, excellent writing skills, content management, social marketing and calendar management. Coordinator will be required to interact with internal and external resources in order to complete projects on time and on budget with minimal supervision.

Duties and responsibilities
• Create pitching materials including decks, sales presentations and pitch emails
• Daily social media execution
• Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan and strategy
• Develop fresh story ideas
• Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white paper, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content and speaking proposals
• Back office admin support (emails, mailing, setting appointments and communication)
• Plans, coordinates and ensures schedules are followed and respected
• Graphic Designs
• Works closely with team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up as appropriate
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively and follows-through on projects to successful completion
Qualifications
This position requires the confidence and experience to assist in the management of marketing campaigns and projects from inception through completion with excellent follow-through and attention to detail. Calendar management, travel expenses, internet marketing and familiarity with print media marketing is required. A strong background in marketing, branding, digital media and executive assisting is very necessary.
Qualifications include:

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Forward looking thinker, actively seeking opportunities and proposed solutions
• Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
• Content management and content marketing
• 2 or 4 year degree ''preferred'' or equivalence of 3 years marketing and clerical experience
• Must possess a valid California Class ''C'' driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Illustrator as well as Microsoft Office Suite Applications
• Some experience in HTML and CSS, as well as using CMS platforms, such as Wordpress. JavaScript experience, added value.
