The Company Artist Management and Commission Records are looking for talented individuals seeking immersive internship opportunities within the Music Industry. We provide a vast scope of services from management to branding to label services and our interns are an integral component of the facilitation of it all!
An attractive candidate will be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and with a team mentality, extremely organized, articulate and possess excellent communication skills, reliable, able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment, verse in social media, proficient in MAC & MS Office.
Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, commit for the length of a semester and possess own computer.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Book studio time, travel arrangements, and housing accommodations for artists
• Review artist management contracts and various other legal documents
• Compile Excel spreadsheets tracking expenses, budgets, etc.
• Maintain calendars and write up itineraries
• Review new artist submissions and determine acts with potential for commercial success
• Monitor/Manage social sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. for all artists
• Compile and record weekly social media statistics for all artists
• Participate in company wide meetings to drill down on all aspects of the business
• Collect articles, tweets, and other web data during specific launches
• General office management and administrative tasks such as bank runs, mail handling, supervise phone lines, and maintain an organized, efficient space
You will have endless opportunities to acquire a deep understanding of the tasks and duties of an artist manager and also those of an independent record label.
