Currently, Catalyst is seeking a full or part-time intern for the Fall semester to gain experience in public relations and help out with administrative and client activities. This is a non-paid position for college credit only.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Providing day-to-day administrative support
2. Creating and maintaining of contact lists, databases, and inventory?
3. Maintaining Catalyst client campaign calendar and tour itineraries
4. Drafting artist bios, press releases, and media alerts
5. Social networking assistance and updates
6. Assisting pitching clients to publications for features and reviews
7. Tracking and clipping media, updating press reports
8. Assistance with events and client shows when appropriate?
Qualifications:
· Applicants must be able to excel under tight deadlines with precision, have the ability to multi-task and prioritize?
· Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills?
· Strong verbal and written communications skills?
· Ability to develop a working knowledge of new computer programs quickly?
· Motivated and proactive
· Proficiency in creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Photoshop a plus**
· Must have a personal laptop, computer will not be provided
· Desire to work in public relations, previous experience a plus**
· Knowledge of Basecamp, Constant Contact, Google Drive a plus**
