Job Description: Successful Artist Management Company is looking for a Fall intern to help managers. This is an opportunity to learn about radio, A&R, marketing, publicity, licensing, new media, and video. We are a small company and everyone contributes.
The ideal person should be proactive, well-organized, hard working, love music, and want to learn everything they can about working within a management company.
Requirements:
. Strong desire to work in the music industry
. Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as work closely with a group
. Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
. Proficiency in Internet research
. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
. Professional demeanor in dealing with people and clients
. Must be discreet and maintain absolute confidentiality as this position regularly handles sensitive information
. Must be able to interact with people of all levels within and outside the company with poise and professionalism
. Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
Responsibilities
-- Coordinating and executing the fulfillment of artist promotional campaigns
-- Assisting with the scheduling of Artists promotion while they are on tour
-- Designing various digital visual assets for the bands on management / label roster
-- Sorting through artist general inquires
-- Coordinate band's donations to various charities and silent auctions
-- Auditing band's online assets to make sure it is portraying a consistent imaging
-- Assist Digital team to coordinate their social media content schedule
-- Contributing marketing ideas during departmental brainstorming sessions
