Production Manager: This position is a direct report to the Executive Director, Production.
Location: Santa Monica / Culver City, CA
Job Status: Full Time
Job Description: The Production Manager is to manage all aspects of booking a full production of studio shows.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate/generate the schedule of booking full production crews for studio show.
o Responsible for hiring of crew members for each show (below the line - freelance crew members)
• Supervise facilities and staff working studio shows.
• Primary liaison between wide variety of entities during world feed production.
• Responsible for training new hires on Production departmental processes and procedures.
• Work closely with the Manager, Production Accountant on coordination of crew and technical show requirements to ensure timely processing of crew time cards and contracts/deal memos.
• Manage scheduling of production facility needs of assigned shows.
• Works with production teams to ensure assigned productions meet network creative and technical objectives.
• Development and quality control of all production books and daily schedules.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a Studio Production role, or a similar position within the Sports Production Industry
• Willingness to work 40+ hours/week on a flexible schedule and remain accessible during Production peak times and available to work non-traditional days/hours. (This job will require working 14+ consecutive days during Slams Events.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Schedule All.
• Strong ability to multi-task, adapt to fast-pace environment and manage several productions start-to-finish.
