Manager, Programming
Position: The Tennis Channel Programming department is looking for an experienced Programming Manager. This position will assist in the long term strategy and planning of the Tennis Channel schedule. The Programming Manager will be the key point of contact for Sales and Marketing on all integrations. Understanding the world of production is key.
Manager of Programming
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Growth position within the Programming group that is focused on short and long term planning
- Participate in the acquisition and deal making process
- Understand the scheduling process and audience flow as it relates to maximizing our content windows
- Provide competitive analyses across the media landscape; what are our competitors doing, what should we be doing?
- Take ownership of key projects within the department; be able to answer any and all questions related to content creation, scheduling, and acquisitions
- Learn the production world and show the ability to move seamlessly between production and programming
- Contribute to the overall goals of the Tennis Channel
- Be a team player, who exhibits a strong work ethic and a passion to advance
- Knowledge of existing rights agreements; looking for ways to maximize our rights
