Tastemade is looking for a Community Manager to assist our Facet app team in Santa Monica, CA. The day it was released, Facet was chosen as Best New App and Best New Travel App by the Apple editors. We're building a truly global community, and we want great people to be a part of it. The ideal candidate will have experience launching and amplifying millennial travel brands and community across social media platforms and in-app. Please note: this is a contract position to start.

• A great writer who is able to develop and enforce the voice, tone and character of your channel, interacting with members and the global conversation.
• An investigator who uses data and analysis to determine what tactics intrigue members.
• An experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and inspire viewers.
• An outgoing and charismatic personality who is constantly reaching out to the community, developing and managing community building strategies, and always encouraging new users.
What you'll do:
• Utilize content from our Facet team and partners in addition to user-generated content to drive audience and engagement across social media and within the Facet app.
• Continuously reach out, engage, encourage, and highlight Facet users across social media and within the app. You will become the community face and name of the Facet brand.
• Funnel conversations, learnings, and observations generated from Community outreach back to the broader team.
• Grow Facet social media followers, engagement, and audience.
• Build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice.
• Distribute the best content and conversations throughout Facet's social networks including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.
• Develop and maintain a weekly posting schedule across multiple platforms.
• Write engaging copy for social posts, content titles and descriptions and post across multiple platforms.
• Develop daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal story campaigns and beats for channels.
• Develop channel appropriate content and campaigns to support editorial calendar.
• Report actionable insights and KPI's on a weekly basis.
• Assist in developing and maintaining channel voice and tone and best practices.
• Monitor and report trends in social media and channel topics.
• Help plan and develop strategy that you'll implement across social spectrum, from web to mobile.
• Support the development of Facet's editorial content calendar.
What you'll bring:
• 3 years experience managing multiple social media channels, preferably for a large-scale, millennial audience of an entertainment or lifestyle brand.
• Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels.
• Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy.
• A passion for Tastemade and Facet and a positive, upbeat attitude!
• A specific point of view on what we have built with Facet and how you would drive the social media and community growth. This is important; we are a small team who needs motivated self-starters who are comfortable in a fluid environment.
