Tastemade is on the hunt for a Programming Manager to further our mission and move people to create great food and travel experiences for themselves and their communities. The ideal candidate will have a professional background in content strategy, content development, social media, metrics/analytics, a deep understanding of the digital/mobile landscape, and a proven ability to amplify millennial entertainment & lifestyle brands.
Who you are:
• A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with social audiences on website, mobile apps, connected TVs (Apple TV, Roku, Spotify) using great copy, thumbnails, videos, and interactions.
• A great writer who is able to inhabit the voice, tone and character of the Tastemade brand, interacting with members and the global conversation.
• An investigator who uses data and analysis to determine what tactics are inspiring members.
• An experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and inspire viewers.
What you'll do:
• Contribute to Tastemade's network editorial calendar and play an integral role in content distribution strategy to achieve significant audience growth.
• Develop daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal content slate and release strategy.
• Build and amplify a consistent brand voice and assist in developing best practices.
• Distribute the best content and conversations on Tastemade's O&O platforms using material from our studio & partners.
• Develop and maintain a weekly posting schedule.
• Write engaging copy for posts, titles & descriptions and thumbnails for audience and SEO.
• Report actionable insights and KPI's on a weekly basis.
• Monitor and report trends in social media and channel topics.
What you'll bring:
• 4 years experience managing and growing a platform, preferably for a large-scale, millennial audience of an entertainment or lifestyle brand.
• Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels.
• Experience developing and producing video content.
• Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy.
• A passion for Tastemade and a positive, upbeat attitude!
