We are looking for an eCommerce Content Programmer. The ideal candidate will have a background in social media with a deep understanding of Facebook and Instagram, previous experience promoting and building social content for an eCommerce brand, and proven ability to drive users to transact.
Who you are:
• A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with social audiences using great copy, video and interactions.
• A great writer who is able to inhabit the voice, tone and character of your channel, interacting with members and the global conversation as well as creating world-class copy for eCommerce product landing pages. You need to know how to bring products to life with great copy.
• An investigator who uses data and analysis to determine what tactics are inspiring members.
• An experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and inspire viewers.
What you'll do:
• Program video content to Tastemade's social audience and get people to transact.
• Coordinate with the broader Programming Team to identify opportunities to integrate eCommerce merchandise opportunities into existing content in development.
• Build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice.
• Develop and maintain a weekly programming schedule in coordination with other Tastemade channels.
• Write engaging copy for social posts, content titles & descriptions, product pages, and performance marketing assets.
• Develop daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal story campaigns and beats.
• Report actionable insights and KPI's.
• Develop and maintainin channel voice & tone and best practices.
• Monitor and report trends in social media and channel topics.
• Help plan and develop strategy that you'll implement.
What you'll bring:
• 3 years experience managing social media channels, preferably for a large-scale, millennial audience of an entertainment or lifestyle brand.
• Previous experience with eCommerce. You must be oriented around driving users to a transaction and you must be able to point to examples of having successfully done this previously.
• Proven ability to engage, connect and build a social audience.
• Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy.
• A passion for Tastemade and a positive, upbeat attitude!
This position will be contract to start with potential to become full-time employment
