Tastemade is looking for a Customer Service Associate to assist our Facet app team. The day it was released, Facet was chosen as Best New App and Best New Travel App by the Apple editors. We are focused on testing a brand new feature of the app called 'Travel Agent'. This feature allows users in the Facet app as well as on Facebook to request free travel agent services via Chat. The ideal candidate will have experience providing online customer service in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner. This is a contract position to start.
Who you are:
• An outgoing and charismatic personality. You relish every opportunity to interact with new users and understand the importance of making a very positive first impression.
• A responsive and attentive professional. It is vitally important that this role responds to notification requests as quickly as possible. You must be vigilant about watching for notifications and responding promptly.
• An avid user of mobile apps and Facebook. Our Travel Agent service relies on Chat - both in the Facet app and in Facebook Messenger. To be successful in this position, you'll need to understand these channels and be comfortable interacting within them.
What you'll do:
• When one of our users requests a Travel Agent, a push notification and email are triggered. The Customer Service Associate will immediately respond to these notifications and, acting as the Travel Agent, enter the Chat with the user to assist them with travel needs. Training and a script will be provided for these conversations.
• Log individual Chat conversations in a template provided to you.
• Periodically follow up with users via email to proactively help them with travel planning needs.
• Communicate daily Travel Agent summary reports to the broader Facet team including number of requests, number of qualified leads generated, etc.
What you'll bring:
• 2 years experience managing customer service requests online preferably in the form of social media support, user requests, user questions, and / or general support.
• A charismatic, friendly personality and a love of interacting with users online and via Chat.
• A passion for Tastemade and Facet and a positive, upbeat attitude!
