Position: Executive Assistant

This role is a combo of a gatekeeper, master organizer, and protector of time for the CEO and Founder, Jess Weiner. Looking for an incredibly people-savvy, sharp and ambitious EA with at least 2 years of prior experience working in a fast paced office or supporting high-level executives.
Daily tasks include handling the CEO's schedule and calendar, booking all travel, professional and personal appointments, and working with team members from other divisions including client services, content, and social media.
The 5 most important skill sets for this position include:
1. Emotional Intelligence: Being a strong communicator, both in written and verbal form, and understanding the nuances of workplace politics, people, and business a must!
2. A LOVER of Details: Organization, time management, and specificity are your friend. You thrive in managing many fast paced, complex details.
3. Office Whiz: You must be strong in all Google programs, PPT, Excel and Word, and be fearless in IT trouble shooting, research, and overall problem-solving.
4.Flexible and Fluid: You are comfortable working full days, and some evenings and weekends when needed. You are open and able to travel internationally and understand that you will also be assisting in personal home care while CEO is traveling (Taking care of home needs and pets (2 Cats - non-allergic, pet lovers only, please!)
5. PASSIONATE about Women's Issues: A deep interest in women and girl's social issues. A curiosity about entrepreneurship, media, and advertising.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Fully manage a very busy schedule that can pivot on a moments notice.
Understand priorities for CEO and schedule day accordingly.
Manage heavy travel, detailed itineraries, and logistics for all public events.
Schedule personal appointments and run errands as needed.
Book and manage all speaking and appearance events.
Manage all media requests and work with PR team on inquiries.
Assist in content for speeches and press opportunities.
Oversee all office systems; maintain and update online accounts and passwords.
Handle all IT needs including software updates.
Manage and reorder office supplies for entire staff.
Work on special projects as needed.
Assist and travel with CEO to events when needed.
