One of NY's most notable Entertainment Marketing and Event firms is looking for highly qualified individuals for an internship in the TR Sports Division. This internship is for creative, motivated, high-achieving college students or grads with a genuine interest in Sports Marketing. A minimum of 3 full days will be required and standard hours are 10-6pm.
Job Description: This will vary depending on experience.
- Assist with industry and client research
- Assisting with brand outreach
- Assisting with event planning and production
- Assisting with capabilities decks and proposals
- Administrative assistance including email correspondence and database management
Requirements:
- Must be an experienced individual that is extremely organized, quick on their feet, and able to multitask.
- Extremely proficient in excel
- Creative insight and an ability to think ''out-of-the-box''.
- Must be comfortable with cold outreach to brands
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in sports and pop culture and an ability to see how culture and consumerism interrelate.
- Strong proficiency with Macs and MS Office applications.
- Ability to follow through to completion on all projects with minimal supervision or micromanagement.
- Working knowledge of Social Media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo, Flicker, and Linkedin.
This internship is unpaid, but promises to be an excellent learning experience. There may be potential for long-term employment. Applicants who are interested should respond with a cover letter of interest and resume. Writing samples and verifiable references will be requested of applicants contacted for an interview.
