Coordinator, Affiliate Marketing
TV Guide Network has an immediate opening for a Coordinator, Affiliate Marketing.
The primary function of this position is to help execute TV Guide Network marketing strategies developed to support TV Guide Network’s goals of driving revenue, distribution and tune-in through the cable, satellite and telecommunications community. Projects and initiatives range from driving awareness and ratings for channel priorities and franchises and supporting the sales force with distribution and marketing initiatives that drive awareness for affiliate products and channel multiple platforms.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
• Support the TV Guide Marketing Director to develop and execute integrated marketing plans.
• Understand industry trends, channel and company corporate strategies that affect network distribution and marketing plans in the short and long-term.
• Work closely with internal contacts (channel/sales team/distributors) to support/reinforce TV Guide Network marketing objectives while championing the brands’ value and with external distribution partners.
• Work closely with teams to execute marketing strategies and oversee creation of related materials and communications.
• Create, develop and implement turn-key tools to better service, market and promote channel values and opportunities to both TVGN and our distributors.
• Manage off-the-shelf marketing campaigns which include overseeing the development of promotional elements, maintaining and updating all promotion details on affiliate-only website, TVGNaffiliate com, and tracking the program’s effectiveness.
• Responsible for the collection and delivery of programming assets associated with all marketing and multiplatform initiatives (copy, footage, images, metadata, barker, etc.)
• Write creative briefs for cross-channel spots and assigned projects. Oversee the execution and distribution of materials.
• Develop messaging for online communications including brand content on b2b affiliate web-site; email blasts and monthly newsletters.
• Liaison with vendors associated to Coordinator projects (i.e. promotion fulfillment, premiums, microsites, etc).
• Submit invoices for the team and manage budgets associated with projects.
• Provide administrative support for the team including dubs, shipping, premiums and coordinating team meetings.
•Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience working with a creative team is a plus
• Candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, reliable and a self-starter who is capable handling multiple projects at once.
• Ability to learn quickly. Must be flexible and able to adapt to the changing industry and organization landscape.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills to interface across multiple levels (up to EVP), and across groups
• Strong project management and organizational skills; must be able to prioritize
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of and fluency in Spanish a plus.
