This is a Full Time Job
The Online Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, and executing online marketing programs for TVGuide's website, and providing analysis of the same. The position will be based in New York, reporting to the Director, Marketing.
The person in this role must be Web-savvy, have experience with Web Analytics and Public Relations and have an interest in pop culture, particularly television and celebrities. You must be able to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis, and you must have excellent communication skills.
Goals Include:
• Developing and executing new promotional opportunities for TVGuide that will raise awareness and drive new unique users to the site
• Being highly aware of TVGuide's content, and identifying the best assets for distribution
• Building and maintaining close relationships with external websites and bloggers
• Actively seeking additional online opportunities and prospects for distribution
• Enhancing cross-promotional opportunities for TVGide and the TV Guide Network
• Analyzing the performance of projects and optimizing results based on learnings
This detail oriented online marketing enthusiast will be specifically responsible for:
• Developing external website partnerships for content distribution
• Conducting and analyzing daily and weekly reports measuring the performance of TVGuide and various outreach campaigns
• Contributing to TVGuie’s editorial and marketing email programs, including:
• Day-to-day list management and reporting
• Keeping up with email industry trends and best practices.
• Enhancing cross-promotional opportunities for TVGuide and the TV Guide Network by assisting with special editorial and promotional requests as needed
• Tracking competitive trends in online publishing, email marketing, social media and the entertainment industry in general
• Interfacing with product, creative and production teams throughout a project’s life cycle
• Initiating and managing new promotions that build awareness and drive traffic to site features such as TV, movie and celebrity homepages and more.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Enthusiasm for and participation in social networks
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for entertainment/media industries
• Superior writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Project management and customer service skills
• Knowledge of online metrics and reporting methods (experience with WebTrends, Google Analytics and/or Omniture preferred)
• Some knowledge of Search Engine Optimization preferred
