TVGuide com has an immediate opening for an Online Marketing Manage, We Analytics, Social Media & SEO who will manage research-related requests in support of Ad Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Editorial to support the business goals of increasing traffic and revenue to TVGuide com.
The Online Marketing Manager will be a highly visible member of the lean-and-mean TVGuide team, focused on generating additional revenue, growing traffic and driving increased engagement. You will be responsible for developing the research that tells the most compelling TVGuide story to our clients, and you’ll have a hand in crafting and implementing the Social Media and SEO strategy that brings new visitors to TVGuide.
This position will work hand-in-hand across all departments in the organization, including Ad Sales, Editorial, Product Development and Engineering. This dynamic environment is best-suited for self-starters who are independent-minded and are creative, out-of-the-box thinkers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop compelling presentations that convey research findings in an easy-to-understand manner
Develop and produce ongoing reports that analyze and summarize data to "tell the story" rather than just reporting numbers
Track, report and analyze key metrics using both internal data and external research tools (Omniture, Google Analytics, @plan, Nielsen NetRatings, AdRelevence, comScore etc)
Keep abreast of current social media, SEO and Web Analytics trends. Identify current and future opportunities and develop strategic plans for implementing online marketing solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extremely strong communication skills, both written and oral
Prior experience with online publishers strongly preferred
Excellent analytical skills
Experience with Omniture a must. Google Analytics and/or WebTrends experience preferred.
Experience with comScore and Nielsen 3rd party research tools a must (Nielsen NetView, @Plan, Ad Relevance, ComScore Media Metrix, Plan Metrix)
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills, including use of advanced functions for data manipulation such as VLookups, HLookups, Pivot Tables, advanced charting skills etc.
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Strong project management and organizational/time management skills; able to deliver requests with a fast turn-around time and prioritize independently
Experience managing a consumer panel/survey writing and analysis
Some experience with focus groups or usability tests
MBA preferred
