Job Summary:
The booth coordinator is a mid-level position. It combines skills of someone with producer/director experience in a role that will cover Monday and Tuesdays when we have reduced production resources.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinates production on Handicapsule Mondays and Tuesdays, when there is no slo-mo replay/server based playback.
2. Communicates with master control all breaks and lays out broadcast to manage the commercial load vs. the live racing schedule.
3. Produces limited content for TVG talent such as hot email topics and social media material.
4. Organizes and orchestrates occasional phoners with track partners.
5. Carries out promotional/marketing campaigns as stipulated by TVG Branding Guide and Senior Producer.
6. Works with graphics to provide for all other needs in the show such as odds, prices and double boxes.
Qualifications:
• One or more years of progressively responsible administrative or production support experience
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Knowledge of MS office software
• Demonstrable horse racing knowledge, education, background or industry experience
Experience/Training/Education/Certification:
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years' experience
