Job Description:
Are you a motivated team player with a passion for brand licensing and marketing? This is a unique and exciting opportunity to get in on the ground level of a growing company and participate in the launch of a new generation of one of the most successful boys' action entertainment brands. As Licensing Coordinator you will assist the Director of Marketing in all aspects of licensing and marketing activities, including working with TV networks, major toy companies, videogame companies, and merchandising companies worldwide.
• Responsible for coordinating licensing activities including day to day communication and requests for information with potential and current licensees and agents
• Work internally with departments to help facilitate product approvals
• Create targeted presentations to pitch, support licensing programs or other categories of business
• Initiate research, review product categories and partners to support brand strategies and growth
• Regularly visit retail stores to document shelf space and perform competitive analysis reports
• Attend business meetings to support Director of Marketing and attend all trade shows and social industry events as applicable.
• Request and exchange information with licensees and agents including sales forecasts from licensees, contract compliance and communications
• Provide administrative support including initiating and tracking deal memos, working closely with legal and other divisions to prioritize and finalize license and other agreements.
• Update and maintain Licensee Lists, One Sheets and other collateral material.
• Perform general office duties (photocopying, handling correspondence and packages, answering phones, filing, etc...)
• Assist with the planning and execution of special events, promotions projects, meetings and conferences.
Job Requirements:
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects with follow-up
• Strong communication and solid presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Self-starter/independent worker with a high level of creativity, and an ability to creatively solve problems with a variety of variables
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and telephone and email etiquette.
• Proficiency to create and modify documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
