Festival Coordinator, Help Desk (Tech Support)

Considerations: Extended hours and weekend work will be required leading up to and during the Film Festival. Position may be required to be housed in Park City prior to and during the Sundance Film Festival. Position needs to be able to lift 25-50lbs.
Position Summary: Provides rapid response and resolution to end user hardware and software technology issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides timely response and resolution of help desk tickets and calls for all offices. Escalate tier 2-3 help desk issues to Full-Time Help Desk Coordinator or Help Desk Manager.
• Trains and supports staff on use of applications.
• Creates and maintains end user Active Directory and Cisco phone accounts.
• Tracks and organize hardware inventory.
• Coordinates hardware and software repairs such as administering OS and software application updates and patches on workstations.
• Provides network and hardware deployment for Festival venues.
• Provides onsite network and hardware deployment for offsite Festival offices, venues, and workstations.
• Routinely monitors status of networked printers and maintain inventory of toner and maintenance kits.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Employee has legal authorization to work in the United States.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 1 year experience setting up and configuring Windows/Mac computer workstations and terminals required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP/Windows 7) and Macintosh OSX required.
• Excellent knowledge of common computer applications (e.g. Office, Internet Explorer, Google Apps, Gmail, etc.) required.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs. required.
• Basic networking and troubleshooting skills not required but preferred.
