Considerations: Extended hours, weekend work, and some holidays will be required leading up to and during the Film Festival. Position may be housed in Park City during the Festival.
Position Summary: Manages ticket requests for VIPs, internal departments and special guests attending the Film Festival and oversees invitations and ticketing for opening night in Park City and Salt Lake City.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Revises internal ticketing manuals and procedures as necessary.
• Manages all internal individual ticket requests and needs for assigned departments (Community and School Outreach, Staff, SundanceCircle, Fellows and Concierge Tickets).
• Manages a team of internal ticket staff and volunteers to ensure a high quality service is being deliver to all internal and external customers.
• Ensures that PCI Compliance is observed (credit card handling standards) with all credit card information received.
• Hires, trains, and manages 9 internal ticketing staff to ensure successful operations.
• Works with the volunteer department to acquire adequate volunteer coverage for Festival event needs.
• Provides ongoing and accurate information to department volunteers and provides timely responses to their inquiries.
• Trains, provides general supervision, creates schedules, and ensures evaluations are completed for department volunteers.
• Enforces all internal deadlines and internal ticket allocation quantities.
• Manages the Salt Lake City and Park City opening night Screening invitation lists, includes sending invitations and processing ticket requests.
• Compiles data, documents all transactions, and fills orders within the ticketing system to ensure concise and easy reporting.
• Notifies Associate Director of any orders or requests that do not fall within approved guidelines.
• Runs daily reconciliation, ticket order, allocation and account balancing reports and ensure accuracy.
• Conducts routine audits of ticket orders and adjusts as needed.
• Plans and oversees the setup and breakdown of the offsite Internal Ticketing offices at various locations.
• Writes a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.
• Other duties as necessary.
Position Requirements:
Employee has legal authorization to work in the United States.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 3 years experience managing ticket or subscription sales.
• Experience managing staff.
• Experience working with Toptix or another ticketing system preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of Excel, FileMaker Pro, Gmail, Google Drive and Calendar.
• Ability to lead by example and act with integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Strong customer service skills.
• A professional attitude and demeanor (tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy).
• Detail oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes, and perform tasks accurately.
