Full Time Job
Considerations: This is a full time, temporary position.
Position General Summary: This position processes accounts receivable, incoming revenue and supports the Finance Department.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
• Processes daily deposits and credit card payments, scans checks and supporting documents, maintains income received list and sends daily email to staff.
• Compiles contributed revenue audit packages for review and approval.
• Generates earned revenue sales reports from multiple POS systems, maintains Excel workbooks with sales data, prepares audit packages for review and approval.
• Creates invoices for earned revenue and submits for payment.
• Maintains credit card allocations for the Institute's e-commerce accounts.
• Researches and responds to e-commerce chargeback issues.
• Supports with A/P process for employee expenses.
• Supports Finance Department in processes as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Employee has legal authorization to work in the United States.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 1-2 years accounting and/or banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit accounting preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Working knowledge of NetSuite or other accounting software.
• Detail oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes and perform tasks accurately.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products: Word and Excel.
• Ability to easily reconcile accounting transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train others on procedures.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
