MARKETING INTERN to start SPRING SEMESTER 2017
With the vision of translating the fashion and beauty editorial space to digital, social and multi-platform content, StyleHaul's CEO Stephanie Horbaczewski co-founded StyleHaul in 2011 with Allen and Aaron DeBevoise, the team that founded Machinima. In 2014, as pioneers of the YouTube space, StyleHaul was acquired by RTL group, Europe's largest broadcast network.
Based in Los Angeles, CA, and now with offices around the globe, including New York, Singapore, Brazil and London, StyleHaul represents a thriving community of over 6200 bold creators, driving over 2 billion monthly views. With premium brands, StyleHaul continues to foster meaningful conversation between creators and their loyal communities.
StyleHaul is looking for a motivated, ambitious, positive-minded intern who is interested in hands-on experience within the digital media community. Intern must be professional, keep it cool under pressure, intuitive with hands-on experiences in a professional or personal setting.
Strong knowledge of the YouTube space
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Interest in the digital media industry
Good visual eye, creative
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get dirty; team player
Prefered major in Communications, Public Relations, English, Business/Marketing, Journalism
Eligible for school credit and at least 2 day a week availability
Adobe Suite (Photoshop preferred)
Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Medium-heavy copywriting for marketing and social initiatives
Office and merchandise organization
Contributing to marketing and social brainstorms, creating original content
Executing content and social community management
Assistance and participation at marketing events put on by StyleHaul or as requested by StyleHaul staff member
Other duties as assigned
