You'll help improve the experience of corporate events, trade shows and exhibits, permanent installations, theatrical production including lighting, audio, video and scenery, concert events and tours, sporting and political events and live television, film and more! The Managing Director position is a senior leadership position. We are searching for a Managing Director who has experience in leadership, strategic planning and organizational, operational skills, identifying and developing new national/international sales opportunities for event and/or entertainment projects. This individual directs the strategic development, nationwide growth and operations of our new office in Atlanta, GA. The overall goal of this position is to provide growth and leadership for studio rgb Atlanta. This role is expected to build and lead a team to deliver on revenue, customer growth and operating income objectives, establish an influential relationship with key contacts in the event and entertainment industry, direct and effectively develop strategic goals into specific business plans, and create a successful, collaborative team of people to achieve these goals.
Managing Director North America at studio rgb Atlanta

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, translate and execute the business and growth strategy for studio rgb Atlanta
• Identify and develop new national/ international sales opportunities for event and/or entertainment projects
• Build, develop, improve, influence and expand mutually beneficial long term multidisciplinary collaborations with newly identified clients
• Deliver value to customers by optimizing the customer experience
• Demonstrates knowledge of innovative production solutions and provides resources in the best application of products or services to achieve client's vision
• Represents studio rgb Atlanta at external events and organizations; interacts with key contacts in the event industry; leads and participates in client presentation
• Prepare and define scope of work with client; to include budget, project schedule, work flow, internal resource requirements, concept designs and layouts
• Coordinates initial company technical and service resources to accommodate client needs
• Reviews expense drivers and creates plans to reduce the waste and increase the affordability of projects
• Identify and explore all future revenue possibilities with client
• Play an active role in implementing innovation solutions by challenging the status quo and encouraging others to do so
• Understand and manage diverse event types and monitors its profitability
• Analyze budget performance and variances throughout the fiscal year, and recommend and/or make necessary adjustments and corrections
• Lead and influence studio rgb Atlanta employees by fostering teamwork and collaboration, driving employee engagement and leveraging diversity and inclusion
• Participates in the initial RFP/ Presentation process from inception to close
• May specialize in a specific Sales Channel
• Communicate as assigned relative to project status and performance
• Keeps all Salesforce Account, Occurrence, Contact, Show and Opportunity data up to date

• Completion of four years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher learning with a concentration in business administration, hospitality management, operations management or related entertainment technology fields
• Thorough knowledge of organizations policies and resources
• Good knowledge of the function and capability of event and entertainment technology equipment.
• Good knowledge of current trends and advancements in event and entertainment technology and the direction of equipment development
• Good knowledge of modern office procedures and practices
• Good knowledge of common computer productivity tools; such as Microsoft Office
• Excellent sales presentation skills, excellent closing skills, good persuasion skills
• 5+ years experience in project coordination in a market appropriate to particular position vacancy
• Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of event and/or entertainment technology sales and marketing
• The ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within strict deadlines; the ability to learn and use proprietary software
• Exceptional sense of priority; strong organizational skills; customer service orientation; tact; professionalism; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
• The work may include the collaboration and determination of product/gear, construction and service/labor specifications as well as design support of relevant operational plans in order to achieve the client's vision
• This position involves extensive travel
