Who we're looking for:
StubHub is currently seeking fun, energetic and all around amazing people to join our Field Operations team as an Event Specialist, Washington DC. These team members will provide exceptional customer service to both buyers and sellers at StubHub's remote fulfillment center in Washington, DC during Washington Capitals and Wizards games, along with other high profile area events.
Ideal Event Specialist candidates have the ability to shine in a high profile customer facing and detail-oriented role. They are friendly, highly self-motivated, innovative, and focused. They are adaptable, quick learners, technically savvy and thrive off working calmly in a high pressure environment. This role is best suited for individuals who genuinely have a passion for helping people, knowledge of the DC area, and the local sports and entertainment scene.
Since Field Operations team members help connect customers with inspiring event experiences, availability during nights, weekends, and holidays are a must and customer service experience is preferred. The majority of the schedule will be based around Wizards and Capitals home games, so we recommend reviewing their schedules before applying to make sure you're available on the majority of those dates. This is an entry-level, contract position and we are seeking applicants with either part-time (~20 hrs/week) and full-time (~40 hrs/week) availability.
What you'll do:
Being an Event Specialist will involve the distribution of ticket orders placed for events throughout the Washington DC area, primarily those located at the Verizon Center. In this role, you will:
-Oversee event day operations of StubHub's Last Minute Services (LMS) fulfillment location in DC
-Provide friendly, efficient, high-quality service to customers
-Hand out ticket orders to buyers in an energetic and friendly manner
-Assist customers with buying and selling tickets
-Interact with customers
-Run queries to track sales and fulfill ticket orders
-Maintain contact with local sellers to ensure prompt and accurate ticket delivery
-Assist with listing verification approvals and UPS order ship outs
-Troubleshoot various issues, foresee and solve potential fulfillment problems and communicate solutions to both our team and our customers
-Provide high-quality customer service to customers by phone, email, and in person
