We currently have many projects that we need assistance with including PSAs, a documentary, social media campaigns, newsletters, awareness campaigns, grant writing, website development, general office assistance, event planning, a lot more!
GRAPHIC DESIGNER Interns: Stop Poaching Now! is currently looking for interns who can work closely with the Director of Operation is CREATING MARKETING MATERIALS related to our mission.
The graphic designer intern will conceptualize, visualize and design marketing materials in support of the SPN's mission. The position will be responsible for managing multiple projects under the guidance of each specific team.
This creative and motivated intern will also participate in the following tasks:
• Create overall design concepts for signage, collateral materials, direct mail, email marketing, newsletter, offline and online advertising and web content.
• Assist with other graphic design requests as required such as sponsorship presentations and PowerPoint templates.
• Partner with the rest of the marketing team to create cohesive messaging and consistent branding.
Ideal interns are proficient in the following skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, strong proofreading skills and the ability to edit copy when needed.
• High level of interest, involvement and enthusiasm.
• Great organizational skills
• The ability to follow instructions and work on some projects with little to no supervision
• A love of animals and a knowledge of endangered species
Please note that this is a non-paid internship. We provide school credit and lunch on the days you are in the office. Lastly, we do share our office with the film development team and so you may at times be cross utilized and pulled in to help with film related projects.
