Steve LeVine Entertainment and Public Relations is seeking a Full-Time Artist Management Coordinator to join the SLE team.
The successful candidate will work with other members of the department or independently on these tasks, as appropriate, and with increasing independence over time.
Responsibilities:
- Booking one-off gigs, mini tours, and full tours at venues, major conferences, festivals and events around the country for managed national recording artists.
- Propose, draft and issue contracts and riders for gigs to the venues and artists and ensuring that they executed appropriately.
- Invoicing for gigs and tracking payments to ensure that acts are paid for promptly.
- Liaising with venues, tour managers and acts to make sure they have all the necessary information for the gig before the gig, and following up afterwards and dealing with any problems professionally.
- Book all travel and event related logistics including airfare, ground transportation, and hotels for managed artists.
- Co-coordinating marketing for gigs in conjunction with the PR and marketing department.
- Maintain artist's calendars of pending and confirmed upcoming events.
- Building relationships with clients and working to expand the number of venues we work with, pitching to our talent to venues, and maintaining relationships to insure retention.
- Coordinating the production of regular marketing materials to distribute to venues with details of acts available dates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Previous experience managing talent preferred
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and out of office.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and manage time
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable being a self-starter and working in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs and Calendar
