Job Summary:
SFMG is currently looking for Production Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a music industry environment supporting artist production staff on performance tours and have interest in learning and growing within the company. - -
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to juggle multiple critical requests.
Job Functions:
• Reports directly to the Project Production Manager. -
• Assist in the advance assigned artist performance and tour production directly with venues.
• Creating and maintaining all production working documents for the production team and making sure all documents are being organized and tracked by the Production Assistant.
• Coordinate all contracted hospitality rider requirements, and onsite venue press interviews.
• Assist in various travel arrangements as assigned.
• Assist with assigned talent and venue-specific security requirements by working directly with artist management and venue security teams under the director of the Project Production Manager.
• Tracking social media assets/elements including liaising between artist talent/teams, production & creative partnership teams to push out campaign elements through SFMG social media platforms for events.
• Coordinate the logistics of Meetings, Conference Calls and Video Conferences for the venue advance. Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and must be able to correspond professionally and effectively via email, and telephone.
• Fluency in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Fiscal responsibility with respect and attention to established budgeted expenses.
- • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with all levels of SFMG including Senior Management, and with employees of companies with which we do business. -
• Passion in music and a general understanding of the music business and the roles of various departments of a record label, artist talent and concert venues. -
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful. Excellent follow-through and attention to detail. -
• Excellent organization and time management skills. -
• Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Mac and PC experience (proficiency in MS Word & Excel)
• Ability to manage confidential information. - A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the artist client and production teams as well as the company is important.
• This position requires acceptance and signature of confidentiality agreements.
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license. Work travel expense compensation to be provided.
• Must be able stand and/or sit for long periods of time and the ability carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (including weekends and/or holidays) as job duties or assignments require, sometimes with little advance notice.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Candidates selected for this position must pass a mandatory post-offer drug test.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience: -
• 2+ Years of previous concert performance event management.
• Professional references required.
Education: -
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred. - -
