SFMG is currently looking for Director of Information Technology. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Operations.
Overview
• Oversee the management of the daily functions of the IT department and work collaboratively with the satellite office teams to ensure that the information needs of various departments are met.
Responsibilities
• Attract, develop and retain talent that can meet the operational needs of the Company and that exhibit SFMG core values.
• Responsible for management and maintenance of all system hardware, software and communication devices at all locations.
• Extensive understanding and education on regulatory and compliance related requirements and controls. Creation and adherence of processes to align accordingly.
• Escalation of incidents to vendors and communication of incidents to Executive Team.
• Collaboration and communication with SFMG Executive Team and the location Senior Management Teams on enterprise and location projects as well as IT operations.
• Active participant in strategic and operational planning and execution for SFMG company interests.
• Ensure all systems are monitored, functioning and patched accordingly.
• Utilize tools, create, and adhere to processes and continuously promote team member awareness on data security.
• Ensure all end users are following required standards.
• Training and mentoring for SFMG team members.
• Conduct root cause analysis, identify and execute resolution of recurring issues.
• Creation, reconciliation and adherence to operational and capital budget for department.
• Management of local IT assets.
• Interface with vendors, executing appropriate management controls for projects, procurement and activities.
• Support the policies and culture of SFMG.

• Ability to facilitate the prioritization of projects and requirements among competing business interests.
• Must be energetic, flexible, innovative, adaptable, team oriented, and self-motivated.

• Possess the ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. This position requires acceptance and signature of confidentiality agreements.

• Ability to assume responsibility for independent/self-directed action.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, manage and carry out simultaneously a variety of complex projects and tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings.
• Understand interdependencies of business systems used within the organization.
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license. Work travel expense compensation to be provided.
• Must be able stand and/or sit for long periods of time and the ability carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (including weekends and/or holidays) as job duties or assignments require, sometimes with little advance notice.
• Travel required to Las Vegas, NV and Miami, FL.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation. - - ????
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Fluency in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Experience: -
• 8+ years managing in Senior IT management role.
• Project management experience preferred.
Education: -
• Bachelor's degree in computer science required.
