Primary Responsibility:
The Coordinator reports to the Executive Director Marketing to support the entire marketing department in executing all marketing initiatives from inception through the life of the project for Anchor Bay Entertainment properties. The Coordinator will also be responsible for some administrative tasks in support of the SVP of Marketing. The Coordinator will be working on various areas of marketing, including but not limited to; competitive research, creative, national publicity and retail marketing and interfacing with cross-functional teams (such as sales, operations, finance as well as outside vendors) to ensure efficient and effective flow of assigned marketing projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in creation and execution of sales and consumer marketing materials (eg. presentation decks, trailers, one sheets, EPKS, press kits, postcards, flyers and other materials for our promotions)
• Research competitive trends
• Administrative Responsibilities: Assist Marketing SVP(s) with travel booking, expenses and calendar coordination, Fed Ex – daily, Talent Travel Coordination, Faxes, Scanning, etc, Additional duties and projects as assigned
• Primary person in charge of accounting needs in TROY LOCATION including: Invoices- coding and signature routing, Purchase Orders – creation and signature routing
• Primary person in charge of DVD title and packaging set ups in Filmtrack
• Marketing contact for Sample Order Requests and Coordination
• Filter and respond to customer service emails via website
• Execute marketing plans for DVD releases including packaging, trade flyers, consumer print ads, online ads, promotional mailings, and other creative elements, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Partner with sales and retail marketing to provide the tools required for making presentations to retail customers.
• Implement innovative and integrated online campaigns that utilize all forms of new media
• Various administrative duties as needed, including scheduling, filing, shipping, calendar coordination, travel arrangements, etc.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree along with 1-2 years applicable work experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Computer savvy with regard to e-mail and internet capabilities.
• Excellent organization, time and project management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and work with all levels of internal and external customers and contacts in a professional manner.
• Prior experience managing heavy travel and schedule arrangements.
• Should have an interest in continuing career in entertainment marketing.
• Self starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. |
