Stan Lee's Kids Universe, a children's publishing and entertainment company based in Los Angeles, is seeking a Publishing Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with artists, printers, and distributors to organize and expedite publishing of new titles
- Proactively seek out new projects for consideration for publication
- Plan and organize publicity and launch events for titles
- Maintain our library of titles, including inventory of previously published books
There is room for growth for the right candidate, including opportunities in other aspects of the company, such as animation and interactive entertainment.
The ideal candidate has experience in publishing and/or children's entertainment, though more important is to be highly self-motivated and proactive in growing the business. Familiarity with Graphics Software such as photoshop a plus!
Salary is TBD and commiserate with experience.
