The Content Production Coordinator reports directly to the company director and oversees productions assistants (interns, work study) as well as the team of contract recording artists.
The Content Production Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing operations of building and maintaining the Virtually Vocal on-line training tool for voice teachers and singers including recording, research, data upload, maintenance, and quality control.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage production of classical and musical theater accompaniment and teach track recordings.
Recruit, evaluate, contract, and schedule artists to record and deliver MIDI and MP3 recordings, according to requests by users and the company's production schedule. Maintain and communicate company protocols for recording, and evaluate quality of recordings before uploading to site.
Research repertoire often sung in recital, concert, audition, studio, etc., as well as current standards for university age appropriate required repertoire. Work with company director to build production schedule.
Maintain backend database associated with the VV Accompaniment Library, including translations, sample videos, affiliate products (sheet music and recordings), and song information.
Oversee production and upload of new vocal exercises.
Keep an accurate spreadsheet of user requests for both new accompaniments and key changes and assign requests as necessary.
Research and locate sheet music for new recordings. If necessary, make markings in music to create effective, solo/concert versions of selections.
Keep organized and updated folders in the Google Drive for sheet music and scores; and each accompanist's MP3 and MIDI recordings.
