Headquartered in Los Angeles, Spotlight Cinema Networks is the cinema advertising industry leader in reaching affluent, educated, influential adults. Spotlight offers an array of on- and off-screen promotional opportunities that enable advertisers to reach consumers throughout their entire moviegoing experience. The Creative Services Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, mastering, encoding and distributing all on screen creative.
Responsibilities:
•Receive and log all incoming creative materials from outside clients.
•Organize and maintain creative asset library.
•Perform audio and visual quality checks on all creative material received and produced.
•Encode creative and create master video files.
•Create and distribute screener web links for internal use.
•Produce physical copies of all on-screen creative material.
•Coordinate with internal production team to ensure on-screen materials are distributed to Spotlight affiliated movie theatres by deadline.
•Maintain and update creative specifications documents.
•Upload all new creative material into Spotlight's Remote Media Manager (RMM) scheduling system.
•Attend off-site QC screenings as needed.
•Assist with various technical tasks as needed.
•Create ad hoc reports as needed.
Requirements:
•College degree required.
•1-2 years of quality control experience or work in a Post Production environment.
•Familiarity of all major codecs and file containers (mpeg2, mxf, VC-1, H.264, Divx, .mov, .avi, .mp4).
•Knowledge of various artifacts that can occur during digital encoding
•Fluent in professional multimedia standards, best practices, and workflows for production and post-production video and audio.
•Experience with commercial and open source encoding software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Encoder, Audacity, and Audition.
•Familiarity with command line programs like FFmpeg and ImageMagick
•Knowledge of DCP packaging software such as OpenDCP
•Awareness of FTP/SCP clients to transfer files to and from clients
•Understanding of cinema aspect ratios and the ability to identify them
•Must be able to make quick sound judgments and communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors and external vendors.
•Must be highly organized, detail oriented and customer service/solutions focused.
•Must be self-starting, flexible and willing to operate within a team environment.
•Ability to properly manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
•Basic web design and coding experience (HTML/CSS) a plus.
•Strong PC skills and Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of FileMaker and similar CRM software a plus.
