Title: SALES MANAGER
Spiegelworld is a traveling and resident theatrical production company known for its adult shows that feature a combination of comedy, music, burlesque, cabaret and acrobatics. We are the creators of the hit shows Absinthe, Empire and Vegas Nocturne.
Spiegelworld is seeking to appoint a Sales Manager to work in Las Vegas, Nevada. Initially the focus of the role will be Spiegelworld's long-running hit show Absinthe, playing on the Roman Plaza forecourt at Caesars Palace, but would expand to other Spiegelworld productions in Las Vegas as they come on line.
Responsibilities
• close liaison with Box Office Manager and ticketing department to track and analyze sales activity, identify issues and opportunities, and develop sales tactics to maximize yield management;
• manage relationships with brokers and third-party re-sellers to drive their marketing efforts;
• develop and activate an outbound groups marketing campaign, in consultation with the property's groups sales team, including cold calls, face to face meetings, direct marketing;
• develop and implement customized groups and VIP package experiences, identifying new revenue opportunities;
• build relationship with city-wide concierges and manage concierge in-bound sales;
• act as liaison with local Convention and Visitor's Bureau, business associations, meeting planner associations and similar type organizations;
• attend networking or other sales events;
• conduct surveys and focus groups to enhance the experience of our customers;
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3 to 5 years direct sales experience, preferably in live entertainment, sports, or hospitality.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
• Confident, pro-active, creative and collaborative style that assimilates well within a team.
