Fall 2016 Internship
Full-service integrated marketing, promotions and product placement agency specializing in entertainment and partnership marketing seeks interns for the fall semester! We are a fun, tight-knit group of passionate and creative individuals looking for interns who share our excitement and enthusiasm for entertainment and brand marketing. Our clients include, but are not limited to, best-in-class brands and content providers in the consumer packaged goods, personal care, transportation, dining, and theatrical studio spaces. SparkAM also owns Creative Entertainment Services (CES), which provides product placement services to its own impressive list of clients.
This is a hands-on internship and a great opportunity to get your feet wet fast. This is an unpaid internship granting students course credit; we are looking for interns who are able to dedicate approximately 12-15 hours per week or more. This internship is for the fall semester through mid-to-late December and beyond, if desired.
Internship responsibilities:
-Participate in brainstorming and strategy development for our clients
-Help find promotional partners for major movies, TV shows, video games, and other highly recognizable brands
-Research brands, marketing trends and social media trends
-Assist with drops to film and TV sets for product placement
-Read scripts that are sent to us, write a script breakdowns, as well as comment on potential product placement and promotional partnership opportunities for our clients
-Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations and client proposals
-Create and maintain status reports
-General office administrative work
Internship requirements:
-No prior marketing experience is necessary, but a passion for marketing, entertainment and digital media is a MUST
-Must be an undergraduate college student eligible for college credit
-Great phone and communication skills are necessary
-Social media savvy
-Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
Schedule:
-Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours/week
-Work dates/hours are flexible
