This role is based in our Austin office only. No remote employment available.
The SXSW Sales & Sponsorship Social Media Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of social media and digital content responsibilities for sales clients and sponsors. This role is best suited for a motivated, organized, and creative individual who possesses strong attention to detail, writing, and visual skills and is ready to tackle a wide range of challenges in a unique and challenging environment.

Credentials
• 2-4 Years experience in social media, content creation, and/or marketing
• Advanced knowledge of Hootsuite, Facebook Manager, Facebook ads, Twitter, Instagram, Periscope, and all social media platforms
• Photoshop/Pixelmator proficiency
• Experience with CPC and CPM campaigns
Required Duties
• Write all copy and publish all digital content for the departments
• Track performance of all posts, blogs, tweets, etc
• Maintain and optimize all department pages (linked, drop downs and specialty pages)
• Liaise with the Marketing on overall social media voice and presence to reflect the company's personality and tone
• Schedule blog posts for clients of each department
• Maintain clear communication and organized workflow of priorities throughout the season
• Tweet coordination on behalf of Sales using Hootsuite to push traffic to blogs and event attendance
• Meet client expectations of paid social media packages through blogs and Tweets
• Liaise with Sponsorship client admin to attend bi-weekly calls and set client expectations
• Review, edit and approve posts for Instagram & Facebook
• Coordinate Periscope and Facebook Live strategy
• Work with Tech Project Manager to vet new tools to advance our social media analytics
• Engage with content from our audience on all social media channels
• Customer service on all social media channels
• Social media monitoring for crisis comms throughout the season and on-site
• Plan and execute CPC and CPM ad campaigns on Facebook
• Track and analyze performance of posts
• Edit and resize photos as appropriate for different social channels
• Brainstorm social campaigns to be used throughout the season
• Work with social media account representatives to create unique onsite programs (ie. Snapchat story, Facebook Live, Instagram takeovers)
• Onsite:
• Advise and assist with multiple department requests for RT's, Facebook Posts
• Monitor multiple platforms for timely content
• Handle the posting obligations for Premier Marketing Opportunities (PMOs) with help from the Sales Department
• Handle the posting of sponsored content
• Live tweet the Film & Gaming Awards (possibly other awards in the future)

• Assist with analytic gathering to assess social media performance
