Role Description
This role is based in our Austin office only. No remote employment available.
The Marketing Operations and Data Insights Specialist is charged with assisting in the technical aspects of marketing automation and CRM activities and the development, collection, and analysis of customer behaviors and preferences as they relate to the overall company's goals.

Basic Duties
• Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
• Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
• Monitor and maintain data quality within customer and marketing databases.
• Lead data collection and analysis of existing customer behaviors that identify key drivers of customer experience and revenue growth.
• Lead data collection and analysis of existing customer behaviors that drive loyalty and advocacy across stages of the customer life cycle
• Actively seek and evaluate new internal and external marketing insight data sources
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DURATION OF THE SXSW EVENT – various duties assigned on site.
Qualifications
• BA/BS Degree or three years working experience in either market research, marketing, statistics, data science, mathematics or economics required.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills involving the manipulation of large behavioral and survey data sets using Excel and Tableau
• Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals.
• Experience with marketing automation systems and blogging software used to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them into customers by using dynamic workflows.
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communicator, creative thinker, ability to use data to inform all decisions, and a desire to improve processes.
Preferential Consideration
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, FileMaker Pro, WordPress
