Details: Senior Analyst Business Development & Strategic Planning (BDSP) – Home Entertainment


Currently we are seeking a Sr. Analyst in Business Development and Strategic Planning for our Culver City, CA office. The Home Entertainment Business Development and Strategic Planning group is a highly visible and multi-dimensional team that provides support to the senior executive team and CFO’s office.
This individual will be responsible for the following:


Support strategic planning of division to drive profits and mitigate market risks
Assess industry trends in regards to the global digital and physical rental and sell-through markets utilizing both internal and third-party data sources
Support negotiations for potential home entertainment distribution deals (physical and digital) through detailed research, modeling, and analysis
Create pro-forma P&Ls to evaluate a variety of new digital and physical commercial initiatives and recommend strategies to drive success
Prepare and maintain greenlight financial models for home entertainment portion of overall new Film title greenlight assessment.
Develop and manage detailed financial analysis for new venture launches, acquisitions, or divestitures
Create and deliver presentations to senior management and third parties
Conduct ad hoc analyses at the request of senior executives and divisional CFO
Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis with strong business operations modeling and forecasting (regression analysis) skills
Draws well-integrated conclusions from analysis and synthesizes them into clear recommendations
Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interface and demonstrate sensitivity effectively at all levels of an organization
Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
Proven self starter and independent problem-solving ability with sense to understand implications of work and probe more deeply when presented with inconsistent or interesting findings
Must be a team player willing to help out all members of the group
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access
