Full Time Job
Role Objective:
The YouTube Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and cataloging Sony/ATV songs and assets on a daily basis, helping to streamline YouTube negotiations, increase transparency into premium video accounting, and quickly detect and resolve copyright infringements.
Duties:
• Monitor Content Management Systems daily to identify Ownership Conflicts, Disputed Claims, Appealed Claims and Possible Claims
• Work with YouTube's upcoming Charting Priorities List to input SATV/EMI claims in composition assets attached to the main recording assets
• Compile charting reports from all major territories weekly, and search for corresponding recording assets to ensure that composition data is accurate
• Track Vevo and WMG premium uploads to create and maintain database of premium content for audit and tracking purposes
• Research MCN and managed channel claims; compile information for infringement reports
• Help maintain YouTube accounting, asset and claims database; data mine as needed
• Use Tempo reports to fix top assets and submit data to YouTube
• Whitelist (approve) channels as needed
• Initiate and track claims on videos for popular songs
• Assist with other departmental projects as needed
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of Music Publishing experience is ideal
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be familiar with YouTube and its Content Management System (CMS)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience working on research-related projects
• Extremely detail oriented and self-motivated
