The Global Income Tracking department at Sony/ATV Music Publishing is seeking to fill the position of Sr. Coordinator, Global Income Tracking.
The Sr. Coordinator, Global Income Tracking position will have the following responsibilities:
• Analyze Affiliate release charting activity
• Produce and analyze income tracking reports to identify potential nonpayment or underpayment of royalties
• Assemble and distribute income tracking inquires to worldwide Affiliates
• Assist with the preparation of Global Tracking Collections Report
• Review and verify license data from worldwide Affiliates
• Assist Management with various license and royalty research projects
• Compile Affiliate chart information to prepare Digital Chart Report
• Maintain various spreadsheets to document status of report production, inquiry delivery and income recovered
• Communicate any royalty processing errors or issues to Global Royalties staff
A qualified candidate must have a minimum of possess the following skills:
• Strong analytical ability
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments, Affiliates and outside contacts
• High proficiency of various computer applications including MS programs, particularly Excel, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
• Minimum of two years of music publishing or equivalent industry experience required
