Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of Royalty Administration Coordinator. The preferred candidate will have experience in music royalty analysis and strong problem solving skills. Experience in music publishing and/or royalty administration is a plus.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Receive, Track, Research, and Respond to client account inquiries
Work with various departments to facilitate accurate and timely client payment
Assist with royalty closeout reviews and procedures
Assist with client access to the online royalty portal
Coordinate client address changes and assist with unclaimed property
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
1-2 years of experience in Royalty Administration or related field preferred
Strong computer skills, with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to take direction, with a focus on ''big-picture'' processes and functions of a major Music Publisher
Ability to work with various departments to accomplish company-wide goals
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to manage large workloads and effectively prioritize demands
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under the pressure of deadlines
Ability to learn and master new software and technology and processes
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a ''customer service'' position
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
