Search for Marketing/ Social Media Coordinator jobs in New York-NY
Individual will be responsible for the following:
· Build and maintain Commercial Music Group (CMG) social networks
· Utilize these platforms to build a greater following and influence in the industry.
· Create regular CMG newsletters and distribute to industry leaders and fans.
· Work cross-departmentally to synergize all efforts to maximize each artist's promotion.
· Facilitate showcases around priority artists for brand/artist awareness.
· Partner with co-publishers on major releases to maximize marketing efforts.
· Work with artists to create original content to drive traffic to CMG's social networks.
· Natural ability to balance, optimize and integrate online initiatives into social campaigns
· Constantly seek new forms and expressions of engagement and reach across platforms
· Able to synthesize information from internal teams into a master strategy-providing all partners with a clear path forward to achieving goals
· Build and communicate overarching program goals, including all content strategies, tech solutions, design requirements and page analytics to internal teams and key stakeholders
· Develop and execute strategy for digital programs for CMG, including searching for and testing new innovations.
· Work with outside agencies to develop applications, microsites, badges and on-line tools.
· Manage development of mobile marketing programs
· Monitor industry / category trends and communicate to Head of CMG to aid in making competitive judgment/investment decisions to guide overall Interactive Marketing investments and strategy
· Responsible for measurement, analysis, and reporting for digital marketing programs within area of management responsibility. Manage day-to-day analysis and reporting.
· Develop and test new digital media channels, such as (for example): in-text advertising, gadgets, widgets, RSS feeds, and podcasts.
· Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with internal departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
· Must love music!
· Individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline.
· Must have 3-6 years of equivalent marketing experience.
· Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels
· Strong analytic and quantitative skills.
· Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
· Ability to deliver results quickly
· Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze data
· Identify trends and marketing opportunities.
· Familiarity with web analytics.
· Knowledge of digital media, on-line advertising, mobile marketing or other analytical digital marketing.
· Knowledge of video development
· Experience with Photoshop, Keynote, Google Docs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus
