Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of Income Tracking Coordinator.
The Income Tracking Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
• Assist with license tracking reports and the discovery and recovery of unpaid or underpaid royalties in the US and Canada - This includes royalty line and license detail analysis across multiple income types, such as mechanical, digital (online and mobile), performance, synchronization and others
• Weekly chart reviews to identify works and shares to ensure proper tracking
• Routine maintenance of tracking resources, including but not limited to working with multiple airplay charts, BDS Encore airplay and streaming statistics, and royalty data
• Work with Global Royalty Center to ensure data integrity of royalty postings
• Support upper management on various research and discovery projects
• Assist in the review of computer systems, reporting errors and any maintenance issues to appropriate departments
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Basic proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
• Working knowledge of music licensing and royalty accounting structure associated with various license types
• Two years of music publishing or equivalent industry experience
