Programming & Operations Specialist

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) operates three complementary lines of business: 1) Distribution of SPE's feature films and television programming to television outlets around the world, 2) Local television production in key international markets, 3) International television networks and digital networks.
General Summary:
Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America is currently seeking a dynamic, pro-active team player to be part of the Product & Operations team supporting Crackle Latin America, our flagship digital network brand. This position will report to the Senior Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Execute programming strategy for Crackle Latin America within own and affiliate-managed platforms
• Work with Design team on choosing the best images to promote our content, based on regional market behavior
• Generate editorial copy in line with Crackle tone and style guidelines, and proof read existent copy
• Track and report title's performance to ensure Crackle is a competitive offering
• Drive programming changes based on title's performance data
• Curate a content offering of movies, television and original series tailored for the Crackle audience
• Share master programming grids and priorities with all other departments (Marketing, Video Ops, Creative etc.)
• Input and create metadata as needed, track art production and schedule assets in multiple content management systems
• Communicate effectively content performance to different teams including recommendations
• Execute QC and testing of platform/CMS and apps enhancements
• Work closely with Marketing, Social Media, PR and Production departments to create brand and content awareness
• Liaise with the Crackle Programming team regarding content schedules
• Liaise with Crackle Product team regarding feature enhancement to the Crackle CMS
• Handle any other tasks as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Passion and understanding of online entertainment, technologies and business models.
• Ability to quickly grasp web content management systems.
• Well-versed in social media/online community and its various applications.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Photoshop.
• Organizational skills and strong attention to detail are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of the Brazilian marketplace, culture and viewing habits is a plus.
• Passion for films and series is a plus.
• Experience researching, writing and editing web copy and editorial is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum of two years in digital media and/or programming and scheduling experience is required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required.
