Manager, International Partnerships - Motion Picture Group
Job Description:
• Assist International Marketing Partnerships sales team in securing new partnerships:
• Developing consistent dialogue with Regional and Local Partnerships executives to help brainstorm ideas for new categories and brands
• Customizing sales materials and presentations; including creation of promotional concepts and program ideas
• Assist International Marketing Partnerships execution team in activating all international partnerships:
• Servicing artwork to approved partners
• Overseeing day-to-day processing of creative submissions, proactively enforcing meaningful integration of film IP
• Communicating directly with all international offices to deliver feedback
• Liaising directly with rights holders to secure their approval on
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of all department reports, including status reports, wrap reports, filmmaker updates, etc.:
• Proactively determining the best format to present updates and information from all international offices ensuring that Management has a clear picture of all international partnership activity
• Aggregating incoming information and data from international offices and agencies to track their progress in securing partners
• Oversee various tools required for the activation of International Partnerships:
• Create premium catalogs for each film with outside vendor
• Create trip packages (to be used as sweeps prizing) for each film with outside vendor
• Manage international market requests for costumed characters, film props, etc.
• Coordinate premiere packages and handle any international winners
• Trade show preparation and support (Licensing Show – Las Vegas, Brand Licensing Europe, Toy Fair)
• Roadshow preparation and support
Skills & Abilities
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor and be able to communicate persuasively and clearly)
• Must be able to multi-task and be able to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Must be a self-starter with a team attitude and a high level of initiative
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Hard working, enthusiastic, and diligent
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 5 years; at least 2 in the entertainment industry
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Photoshop)
