Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Orchard's Film & Television division handles acquisitions, theatrical and digital distribution of completed projects. The film division has distributed hit titles such as the Academy Award® nominated documentary Cartel Land, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Dior and I, Point and Shoot, The Overnight and Life, Animated and is currently working on releasing a number of upcoming films.
Responsibilities:
Interns will gain hands-on experience by assisting the theatrical team with tasks involving customer research and development, creating marketing materials and Internet campaigns, creating promotional video clips, designing press kits, interacting with filmmakers, helping evaluate potential programs for acquisition, and general office assistance.
Qualifications:
College Credit is required. Students must provide documentation verifying enrollment priot to starting their internship.
An unpaid internship is available for university students with a serious desire to learn about film distribution and the business of entertainment. Candidates must be able to commit 2-3 days/week (15-25 hours/week) for a minimum of 3 months.
